Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Roly (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, maintains, and protects information when you use the Roly mobile application (“App”).

1.1 Contacts Information (Address Book Access)

With your explicit permission, Roly accesses contact information stored on your device, including:

• Names
• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Contact photos (if available)

Why we access your contacts:

• To display your contacts inside the App
• To allow you to sort, organize, and group your contacts
• To help you initiate calls, SMS, or emails directly from the App
• To enable features like “contact shuffle” and group actions

We do NOT:

• Upload your contact list to our servers
• Store your contacts on any cloud database
• Share your contacts with third parties
• Sell, analyze, or use your contacts for marketing

All contact processing occurs locally on your device.

1.2 Phone Number & SMS Verification

You may be asked to provide and verify your phone number. This is used solely to:

• Confirm your identity
• Prevent misuse or unauthorized accounts
• Enable messaging-related features

Your phone number is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.

1.3 Messages (SMS / Email)

Roly allows you to send SMS or emails to your contacts or groups. When you send a message:

• Messages are sent through your device’s default SMS/iMessage or email app
• We do NOT store or read message content
• We do NOT track who you message
• We do NOT upload or analyze message data

You are responsible for any carrier fees charged by your mobile provider.

1.4 Usage Data & Technical Information

We may collect non-personal, anonymous data such as:

• Device model and operating system
• App version
• Crash logs
• Diagnostic reports
• Anonymous usage patterns (e.g., most visited screens)

This helps us improve performance, stability, and user experience.

We do not collect or process personal contact or message data for analytics.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide the core features of Roly
• Allow you to manage and organize your contacts
• Enable messaging and quick communication actions
• Improve app stability, functionality, and security
• Send essential (non-marketing) app notifications

We do NOT use information for advertising, profiling, or tracking across apps.

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

Your contacts, preferences, groups, and organizational data remain stored on your device. We do not access or view this information.

3.2 Cloud Services (If introduced in future versions)

If backup or sync features are added in the future, certain user-generated data (such as group labels or your own custom preferences) may be stored securely in a cloud service.

You will be notified in advance, and such features will remain optional and require your explicit consent.

3.3 Security Measures

We use industry-standard security practices to protect data, including:

• Encrypted app storage where applicable
• No external transmission of your contacts
• Restricted access to diagnostic logs

4. Sharing Your Information

We do NOT share, sell, or trade your personal information.

We may share anonymous, aggregated diagnostic data only for app performance insights (never tied to your identity).

5. Children’s Privacy

Roly is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your Choices & Permissions

• You may revoke contact permissions at any time through your device settings.
• You may disable notifications in your device settings.
• If phone verification is used, you may request account deletion at any time.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. When we do, the “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
